Some of our achievements
Opening Doors to Higher Education: CCNetwork’s UTME Support Program
In 2021, Care and Compassion Network (CCNetwork) took a meaningful step toward empowering young Nigerians through education. The organization selected 18 promising students from five states across Nigeria to benefit from a special support program aimed at helping them access tertiary education.
As part of this initiative, CCNetwork purchased the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms for all selected students. This gesture was more than financial aid, it was a vote of confidence in their potential and a powerful reminder that their dreams are valid.
But the support didn’t stop there. The Scholarship Committee provided comprehensive guidance throughout the UTME process; from registration to exam preparation, and even post-exam counseling. This hands-on mentorship helped students navigate the complexities of the admission process with clarity and confidence.
The impact was immediate and lasting. Several students gained admission into tertiary institutions during that same admission cycle, while others successfully secured their spots in subsequent years. For many, this was a life-changing opportunity, one that might not have been possible without CCNetwork’s intervention.
This achievement reflects CCNetwork’s deep commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4): ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. By investing in these students, the organization has helped lay the foundation for a brighter, more educated future.
Supporting the business revival for a physically challenged cobbler.
In a heartfelt gesture of empathy and support, the Care and Compassion Network has extended a generous sum of 50,000 naira to Mr. Rasaq Adenekan, a physically challenged individual, to aid the revival of his Cobbler business. This assistance comes as a response to the difficult circumstances faced by Mr. Adenekan and his daughter, whose health condition prompted the Care and Compassion Network to lend a helping hand.
Mr. Rasaq Adenekan, a skilled cobbler, has been facing severe challenges due to his daughter’s health condition. Over time, he had to sell off all his tools, leaving him without a proper shop to run his business. Despite these adversities, Mr. Adenekan persevered, relying on the goodwill of his friends’ workshops to undertake the occasional jobs that came his way.
Recognizing the immense potential and determination of Mr. Adenekan, the Care and Compassion Network swiftly responded to his plight. With a commitment to fostering inclusive economic opportunities, the organization has provided him with financial support amounting to 50,000 naira. This assistance aims to empower Mr. Adenekan to regain his independence and reestablish his Cobbler business.
The contribution from the Care and Compassion Network will enable Mr. Adenakan to procure the necessary tools and equipment required to resume his operations successfully. With the revival of his business, he will not only secure a sustainable source of income but also enhance his capacity to provide for his daughter’s medical needs.
The Care and Compassion Network, an organization dedicated to promoting social welfare and extending support to individuals facing hardships, reaffirmed its commitment to creating a more inclusive and compassionate society. By addressing the specific challenges faced by Mr. Rasaq Adenakan, they demonstrate their belief in empowering individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve self-reliance.
The support provided by the Care and Compassion Network serves as a testament to the transformative impact of collective efforts and community engagement. It is through such acts of kindness and generosity that we can foster a society where no one is left behind.
CCNetwork Supports Students with Back-to-School Book Donation
As part of our ongoing commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) which promotes inclusive and quality education for all, CCNetwork has launched a Back-to-School initiative to help children return to the classroom and continue their learning journey.

We provided essential school books to selected students across six states in Nigeria: Ogun, Osun, Lagos, Oyo, Ondo, and Kwara. These children were chosen from communities where access to basic learning materials remains a challenge.
By donating books, we’ve helped ease the burden on families and encouraged students to stay focused on their education. For many of them, this support means they can return to school with confidence and hope.
We believe that every child deserves the tools to learn, grow, and dream. This initiative is a small but powerful step toward building a future where education is truly accessible to all.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Together, we are shaping brighter futures one book at a time.

The Water Project at Ogidi Community, Ibadan, Oyo State.
In January, our organization embarked on a grand project of digging two wells for the Ogidi community in Oyo state. It was an opportunity to take part in putting a smile on these faces by making clean water accessible to them and also, creating the beginning of a new healthy life for them.
The first water project at Ogidi community (Zone 2) in Ibadan was commissioned on Sunday, 31st of January 2021.
We planned on giving the whole Ogidi community one motorized well initially. But due to some factors, we had to change that. Following the agreement and collective decision of our members to solve any water problem in a community, especially a big community, for good, we had to dig a second water project at Ogidi Zone 1, Amuloko Ibadan.
Â
Our intention was that the two wells should serve the community comprising of up to eighty to one hundred houses in total.
From our statistics, our project would be able to impact, on average, one thousand and two hundred people who lacked easy access to clean water. We commissioned the second well on Sunday, 21st of February 2021 in a colourful way. The sum of two hundred and fifty thousand naira only (₦250,000) was expended on the project.
Support for the Sick Woman
Someone reached out to us to tell us the agony a mother of four was passing through. The woman had an accident last year and instead of going to the hospital, she was treated with hot water massage and paracetamol!
The paracetamol was for all the pains she could be passing through and she was treated locally because as a divorced mother of four, she couldn’t afford to feed let alone afford a modest hospital bill. Unknown to her, the accident has damaged some internal organs according to tests she’s being forced to do and when the pain became unbearable for her, she went to see the doctor and they prescribed some tests to her. She could not afford the money for the tests hence the reason for her financial request. A sum of fifty thousand naira (₦50,000) was given to her in total. Thirty thousand naira (₦30,000) for her treatment and twenty thousand naira (₦20,000) for her upkeep.
Purchase of JAMB Forms For 20 Candidates in 5 Different States
In her continued effort to promote and support the Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4), the education goal, which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, CCNetwork organized a Workshop for some secondary school leavers and obtained JAMB UTME forms for 5 students each from Oyo, Ogun, Osun, and Kwara states, totaling 20 students.
Tuition Fee Support To A Final Year Medical Student of Kaduna State University.
Mr. Bashar Salihu sent us a grant request in April. He’s a 5th-year medical student from Kaduna State University. He finds it difficult to pay his tuition for two sessions, and he’s on the verge of losing his studentship. So, he applied for a grant of ₦50,000 with us towards this exigency.
In line with our mandate to advance the cause of humanity through our love and compassion for others, we transferred the sum of ₦50,000 to him, granting his request.
This is after we have proven beyond a reasonable doubt that his case is very genuine and that he’s not an impostor.
In a similar manner, the sum of twenty thousand naira (₦20,000) was given to Mrs. Maryam Saheed who had some challenges with her business and needs to settle her school fee.
Furthermore, a sum of sixteen thousand naira (₦16,000) was donated to Ms. Maryam Akande of Ogun State College of Health as tuition fee support. The beneficiary appreciates the CCNETWORK family for this kind gesture and he hopes that God puts him in a position to replicate a similar favor in the future.
